For Sale - DigiTech IPS33 Intelligent Pitch Shifter - $400 + shipping This device can generate (and internally mix) two shifted notes from an input. Unlike devices which shift using a static interval (e.g. parallel fifths), the IPS33 will extract the note being input, and apply the user specified key and scale to generate the harmonically correct output notes. A large number of scales are preset, and arbitrary (even "avant-garde") user defined harmonies can be programmed in as well. The unit can also display as a very accurate chromatic tuner (great in a guitar rack), and can provide thick chorusing and doubling effects. This is a studio quality device and can be used with horns, sax, vocals, guitar, etc. Also an aid to composition...built in scales provide instant jazz, rock, blues, progressions based on an input melody or bass line.
