[rec.music.synth] MIDI driver needed for Mac

jeff@ogg.cgrg.ohio-state.edu (Jeff Faust) (02/08/88)

I'm writing a MIDI application on the Mac SE in LightspeedC.
I need a simple way to read and write MIDI bytes to the
serial port. I assume this requires a special MIDI serial
driver and a couple of C routines for reading and writing
character buffers. Any help, advice, or code toward meeting
this need would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I if
an Opcode Studio Plus interface if it matters.

        Thanks,
        Jeff Faust

You can buy that very thing from Opcode Systems. What you get are C
libraries for LightSpeed and Aztec (I think) C. Cost is either $10.00
or $20.00. No documentation but self explanatory.
