At my school's (UCLA's) electronic music lab, each of us students gets 3 hours a week (only) of lab time. One of the fun toys we get to play with is a copy of Voyetra's "Sequencer Plus" on their IBM PC/XT. Since it takes so long to create a sequencer file from scratch, I thought to myself, "Boy, wouldn't it be great if I copied this Sequencer Plus program onto my OWN PC at home, so then I could spend all the time in the world creating my sequencer files and just transport them to school on diskette!" Well, it turns out that Sequencer Plus has one MOTHER of a protection scheme. (Not that I'm actually admitting I actually tried to copy it ILLEGALLY or anything. Just making a comment. :-) ) Which brings me to my big question: Does anyone out there have/know of an editor that will allow you to make sequencer files compatible with Voyetra's Sequencer-Plus? Much obliged at the response to this.... -- Jeff Boeing (which is not my real name) | ...!uunet!stb.uucp!tracer ------------------------------------------|---------------------------- "All right, you weak bosons!
