Does anyone know the address and phone number of the publisher of HMSL (Hierarchical Music Specification Language) for the Amiga, as well as the price of the product? As I'm leaving for a 3-month stay overseas in less than 2 weeks, I need the info urgently. Pse mail any replies, and I'll post to the net if there's sufficient interest. Thks in advance! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adrian Ho a.k.a. Someone wanted a nummber for HMSL. Try Frog Peak Music at (415)485-6867. If that doesn't work, call the CCM at Mills College at (415)430-2191 and ask them to point you in the right direction. someone there will know. -- {ptsfa,hplabs,ucbvax,lll-lcc,lll-crg}!well!warren

Thanks for all the responses to my previous posting! Here's the scoop (straight from Phil Burk, one of the authors): HMSL is available for the Amiga (needs JForth) and the Mac (needs mach2). It's available for $150 (shipping & handling included, add CA sales tax if applicable) from: Frog Peak Music P.O. Box 1051 San Rafael, CA 94915 Tel: (415) 485-6867 You can call or write them for flyers and more info. Frog Peak also offers JForth at a discount ($120, usually $180) when purchased with HMSL. For those of you who are starting to drool 8-), take note that HMSL is NOT a stand-alone product -- it's basically a set of Forth routines that allow you to build your own music applications. You DO need to learn Forth if you don't already know it (and of course you need JForth), but the effort is well worth it. Have Fun!! [Disclaimer: I have no affiliations with Delta Research (JForth) or Frog Peak Music, other than being a very satisfied customer.] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adrian Ho a.k.a.
