The song in question is by the group "Foreigner", off their first album (called "Foreigner"). It is on the second side, as I recall, although I think somebody relieved me of my copy of the album. The song right before it (or after it, I forget) is *much* better, namely "Fool for you Anyway". There is even a slight chance that they are the same song, and I just didn't like the "Star Rider" part, but I think it is a different song (called "StarRider," I'm reasonably sure...).
