Yesterday I turned on my HR-16 and the lower text line of the LCD display was going bad. The bottom row of dots comprising the characters was a duplicate of the row above it. Also the optimum viewing angle seems to have shifted and some characters have a 'dark' background instead of the normal yellowish background. Has anybody had this problem? Any kind of LCD display problem? What is the Alesis service policy? This is the only American made piece of music gear that I own and it is the ONLY one to fail in any way!
