[rec.music.synth] New Roland Sound Modules

hawk@cbnewsl.att.com (james.p.hawkins) (10/23/90)

Does anyone have any experience with any of the new ROLAND sound modules
CM-64 LA/PCM, CM-32L LA Synt, CM-32P PCM?

I would be interested in an hearing an opinion on these modules, especially
their ability to produce Piano sounds.

The CM-32L is essentially an MT-32, the CM-32P essentially a U-220, the CM-64
combines the two in one box. I have no idea if you're familiar with these
units or not.

The PCM units (32P, 64) have good sampled pianos. The 32L has a piano sound
that is pretty weak.
