Due to the LARGE number of requests I have decided to put the two demos in an FTP site namely ucsd (as suggested by someone - thanks..) the files are in /midi/software/ibmpc and are named: FINALEdemo.exe - one high density 5-1/4 distrib disk MPPdemo1.exe \ MPPdemo2.exe - are the three low density 5-1/4 distrib. disks MPPdemo3.exe / the files are ZIPed and made to self extract by typing the name of the file. FINALE stated it runs under win >=2.1 but I have heard it also runds under win 2.01 (you can try..) both demos disabled the saving and printing so that it won't do much good as a regular program. MusicPrinterPlus has very good on line help - a big plus! FINALE has a 20-page "manual" with it that lets you do the first steps on the demo, but it's still very hard to use. I have the "manual"; does anyone know of a way to get the manual to a text file so that I can send it as a doc to the FTP site? if something does not work with the demos please let me know and I'll try again, but the files are the same size and all should be well.... I'm glad there is that much interest in the demos but my mailbox could use a rest......
