The flow data collected at decwrl shows the path that each article took
to reach its destination. By combining this data and merging by host,
we can compute the "influence" of each site. The "influence" of a site is a
measure of how much news it carries for other places. Influence is measured
in percent. An influence rating of, say, 21%, means that 21% of all stored
news articles, worldwide, have passed through that site on the way to their
final destination.

The flow data collected at decwrl shows the path that each article took
to reach its destination. By combining this data and merging by host,
we can compute the "influence" of each site. The "influence" of a site is a
measure of how much news it carries for other places. Influence is measured
in percent. An influence rating of, say, 21%, means that 21% of all stored
news articles, worldwide, have passed through that site on the way to their
final destination.
