[comp.sources.bugs] mush 5.7 bug

mkhaw@teknowledge-vaxc.ARPA (Mike Khaw) (10/11/87)

While in a mail folder in which I have just marked several messages as
"deleted", if I do ctrl-u to update the folder, the deleted messages are
removed from the folder (i.e., I can no longer undelete them), but mush
still displays their headers on the screen with the "*" marker showing them
as deleted but presumably undeletable. But what's really bad is that
this headers display is now completely bogus; e.g., if I had 15 headers
before the update and 5 had been marked deleted, after updating, the
display still shows the original 15 headers, but mush "knows" that there
are really only 10 messages in the folder now so you could mistakenly delete
the wrong messages.
