I suspect y'all have caught and fixed this already, but in case you haven't: The version of the public domain context diff program I have had a bug where it called perror(3) with a null pointer instead of a pointer to a null string. This caused my SysV.2 Unix to crash with the infamous "Memory fault - core dumped" message. The applicable version of the program was posted to comp.sources.misc as Volume 2, Issue 63 and submitted by Mark H. Colburn. If your version is a different one this may not apply. Below is a context diff (suprise!) of the bug fix. Use Larry Wall's patch program, or install it by hand.
