I am very concerned that the number of people who have so
generously posted fixes and features to Oliver Laumann's screens
program could result in the eventual inability to publish diff's
that can work on all the various mutated versions of the program.
I missed one set of patches becouse I only apply "offical" patches.
Now that screens seems to be unsupported and this last version does have
a few bugs, I'm not sure just how to proceed.
Prehaps some of you who have become intimately familiar with the
code can converse together with Oliver and "appoint" an offical
(even if just temporary) custodian.
With such a custodian, a real offical patch could be posted
so we'll once again have a standard for future diffs.
