[comp.sources.bugs] Perl 3.0 Patchlevel 4 DIRNAMLEN problem

Me again.  Again, this was mentioned right after 3.0 was released.
On my SVR2 system, configure assumed that dirnamlen should be #define'd
even though it shouldn't.

Local or fixable?

Turns out I needed to undefine DIRENT....since I don't have
the directory routines...not sure how it found them.
