chip@tct.uucp (Chip Salzenberg) (03/09/90)
As some of you may already know, I am the author of Deliver, a flexible E-Mail delivery program. Ever since I released Deliver, lo these many months ago (:-)), I've been beseiged with E-Mailed requests for old patches. Normally, I'd tell these people to ftp the patches from uunet.uu.net or other comp.sources.unix archive sites. However, c.s.u has been erratic of late; the patches aren't there. And I'd like to have an official archive site that wouldn't require a moderator's queue to empty for a patch to be available. So I ask you: If you have Internet access, if you're willing to give me a guest login, and if you permit anonymous FTP -- please let me know. I'd like to set up an Official Place To Get Deliver By Anonymous FTP, and you might be it! (BTW, UUCP connections would be a plus; not all Deliver users are on the Internet.) By the way: I could save all responses and keep a master list of Archive Sites For New Authors Who Need Archive Sites. Hmm... Please E-Mail comments; I'll summarize to the net. -- Chip Salzenberg at ComDev/TCT <chip%tct@ateng.com>, <uunet!ateng!tct!chip> "The Usenet, in a very real sense, does not exist."
