Many have written with this question, so I decided to tell everyone once. RN 4.4 will NOT have the trn features in it. There are many reasons for this. One of the main ones is that Wayne (when I last talked to him about it, which was back at the end of summer) does not want to merge the two as yet. You are welcome to take that up with him, but I intend to respect his wishes. Anyway, the release will mostly mark another baseline from which a new trail of patches can emerge. It should fix all the outstanding terminal handling problems and will contain hooks into the AUTH extensions in later versions of NNTP. Assuming all goes as planned, it will also contain a completely revamped Configure program. If you feel your bug fix has gotten lost somehow, please forward it now. If you have a new feature you'd like considered, please forward it now. I will evaluate all bug fixes and use them if I can. New features will take a back seat.
