The ACM Quarterman article (Communications of the ACM 10/86) gave the
following address format for sending mail from a bitnet site to a uucp
site:
h1!h2!h!u@psuvax1
Several of my bitnet friends have tried to send me mail using this format
to no avail. What gives? Someone recently suggested the following format:
u%h.UUCP@psuvax1
Has anyone successfully used this format? How about the Quarterman article
format? Giving the Quarterman article as the 'best reference' does us no
good if the formats listed aren't correct.
