I have been trying for some great number of weeks to send
mail to a friend of mine at Carleton College from Reed
where I have an account. His login is rhynep at site
name ccnfld.
I have tried numerous different methods, all with no success.
Or at least I haven't been able to get a message through correctly.
None have come back to me with the usual frustrating
messages. He claims, via mabell, that he is recieving mail
but it is unopenable. "You have UNIX mail...Permission denied."
Can any of you offer any assistance? I have a feeling,
a well substantiated one, that the problem is that we are
running on two different systems, and that something
is missing between them. He has no UNIX gurus there so
no one can help him open the mail.
