Does anybody know Bob Hamilton of "hasmed"? Or know of any sites in Cincinatti that are actually hooked up? I have a small problem here. For a very very long time we had been exchanging news with hasmed, and mail. In fact, they were our first source of news. Anyway, about a year ago they had a bad disk crash and pretty much lost their system. Since then they've replaced their old Tandy Model 16's with NCR Towers. But they haven't polled us since they lost their system so many moons ago. Occasionally we get traffic destined for hasmed, it sits in our spool directory for awhile, then uuclean gets bored with it being there and deletes it. Right now we're going through another phase where there's a lot of traffic for them ... The last I'd heard, hasmed was the only machine in Cincinatti that did any long distance calling. Other sites which I remember existing there are "snap1", "mddc", and "qusavx". There are also some people at the U of Cincinatti who would like to be on Usenet.
