[comp.mail.misc] Internet relays for networks

kurt@hi.unm.edu (Kurt Zeilenga) (03/10/88)

Does anyone have a list of gateways from Internet
to other non-Internet networks (for mail)?

The list I use right now is:

Network Gateway
--------------------------------------------------
*.bitnet	jade.Berkeley.EDU
*.csnet relay.cs.net (official)
*.uucp rutgers.EDU

You (and others) may be interested in an article in March 1988 PC WORLD
magazine entitled "E-Mail to Anywhere" which discusses most of the major
for profit E-Mail services rate structures and interconnections.
At least one of these services (DASnet) provides mail exchange with all the
others as well as Internet and BITNET access for mail.
