Very interesting. One of our staff programmers has also done a
black-box rewrite of MM for the UNIX environment. I don't know its
condition as to `releasability' and such, but I could find out if
there's interest.

The correct address for that is bug-mm@columbia.edu (Internet), (or rutgers!columbia!bug-mm (usenet), bug-mm%columbia@cuvma.bitnet (BITNET), or try bug-mm@cunixc.columbia.edu). Please note that MM is still in Beta Test, so you'll have to be a bit patient until it is released (unless you have the time and wish to join in beta testing it)... It currently runs on BSD, Ultrix, SunOS, Sequent Balance, Pyramid, Celerity. The HP-UX, Sperry 5000 and System V ports are currently in progress. --Fuat Baran -- ARPANET: fuat@columbia.edu U.S. MAIL: Columbia University BITNET: fuat@cunixc.columbia.edu Center for Computing Activities USENET: ...!rutgers!columbia!cunixc!fuat 712 Watson Labs, 612 W115th St. PHONE: (212) 280-5128 New York, NY 10025
