[comp.mail.misc] Bouncy bouncy bouncy....

Nanook@cup.portal.com (06/23/88)

I'm fairly new to using the electronic mail system, and am stumped by what's
happening with a message. I received a reply message from a person at the
address of RLewis@venera.isi.edu. Unfortunately the mail I send in return
in "bouncing" and I'm not too sure as to why..(I've read better spagetti code
than what's below...|)

If you wouldn't mind too much, please explain why it's failing and what I can
do in order to avoid it happening again......

The file nmail.uucp does not exist on the system in question. Errno 2
is ENOENT for those of us who prefer a symbolic representation of what
is going on. Ask the postmaster at the site that bounced this what
went wrong.
