Being somewhat new to the electronic mail scene, I'm a bit underinformed about the various mail packages available for Unix systems (mailers and user agents). We are currently using Smail 2.5 and Elm 1.5, but I would like to know about any other packages currently available. In particular, are there any systems that will transfer mail over Ethernet links (we have three Unix systems connected via Ethernet [TCP/IP] and would like to be able to transfer mail between them). I've seen sendmail mentioned numerous times here on the net, and one of our mail connections uses a package called MMDF...but I know next to nothing about either of those packages. Any help with additional information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance -- David E.
