Please help!! I don't really believe I'm this dumb, but I can't seem to get smail configured properly for my system. I realize this isn't a final release I'm working with but it was so easy to install on my last system I didn't think it would matter. I am administering a Sun 3 server with diskless workstations NFS'd onto it. The problem I am having is this: I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get smail configured to do the proper thing from workstations. Mail initiated on workstations should be forwarded via the local mailer to the server machine, which will then attempt delivery. Mail from the server machine seems to work fine. Now, I am no sendmail demon or BSD wizard so it's possible (highly likely) I blew something in the set up but WHAT????? If you have any ideas, please email me. I'm not in your maps, so you'll probably have to address it by hand. ( Lack of reliable mail is one reason I'm not there. Lack of a local feed has something to do with it also. ). If you can't get your mailer to mail to me, try mailing c/o scott@rdahp.UUCP He should be able to forward stuff.
