I am posting this for some exhibit designers from the new Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. I will forward replies to them. Please reply by e-mail to me in addition to posting to the news groups. I will scan the groups intermittently but e-mail is more likely to be read in a timely manner. I will try to focus discussion into one news group, whichever generates the most replies. Please help because this is a great way to help open up the world of telecommunications to kids. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We would like to know applications for electronic mail and network news for elementary and junior high kids. We are especially interested in assisting meaningful dialogue between children locally, nationally, and in the future, internationally. One constraint is that children will have a limited time to access the facility. The programs have to be kept simple due to the variety of skills and ages of the children. The Children's Discovery Museum (CDM) will be opening in downtown San Jose in early 1990 southwest of the Center for Performing Arts.
