Hosts ucsc[b-o].ucsc.edu have been up since the day after the quake. Many users on these hosts have .forward files to other hosts that have been down, which could explain some cases of non-delivery of mail. Most of the hosts in the Applied Sciences building came up within the past hour or so (4PM PDT Friday 20 Oct). These include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Earth Sciences. Host ssyx in Social Sciences came up yesterday afternoon. Hosts in Natural Sciences II are still down. That building has not yet been cleared for occupancy because of possible damage to the structure. These are hosts associated with Lick Observatory and Physics.
