In article <several> anyuser (Several Dozen People) write: >Hi! I have a friend at x, and I'd like to send email to him. > >I don't know his address there, ... > Can anyone help? O'Reilly & Associates, Inc. has a book out with the wonderful title of: "!%@:: A Directory of Electronic Mail Addressing & Networks" This is a WONDERFUL book!!!! If you have a question about most (if not all) of the nets running around worldwide (Did you know that Egypt has a network called ENSTINET? p. 90 in my edition), you can probably find some information in the book. It even has a list of second-level domains by both organization and domain name. (Lagniappe Systems has LS.COM, for example... or CC.EDU is Carroll College...) A wonderful way to find somebody who you know works for Fujitsu America, and you can't figure out that it's FAI.COM. No stock owned, just a satisfied user (reader?). -- Steve Watt ...!ames!claris!wattres!steve wattres!steve@claris.com also works If you torture your data long enough, it'll eventually confess.
