Where can I find out about mail standards? I would specifically like to
know about RFC 822 and MHS. Is RFC 822 the standard that the Unix mail
system uses? Perhaps, this should be a new book from Nutshell!

RFC 822 and RFC 1123 are the closest thing to standards that exist, but I've never seen a Unix(tm) mailer that follows it completely. Most notaable is the addition of fields to the header that violate the "standards". R.
