Hello there all, I hope this is a good place to submit this question. If there is a better group/source for the answer, I'd appreciate knowing. I'm running a mailing list from my DECstation 3100, and am being troubled by duplicates. The mailing list is fairly long, fluctuating between 250 and 350 members. It never fails, whenever I send to the list, a second mail item is sent about 15 min - 1 hour after the first. The operating system I'm running on the machine is ULTRIX X4.0-10 (Rev. 151). I'm running the standard /usr/lib/sendmail program; the latest update date I can find is 6/89. I had gotten wind of a cron bug which caused problems when things sat in a mail queue too long; could this be the reason? Is it some- thing else? What do I need to do to fix it? Any help is appreciated! Please e-mail me; I don't get the chance to read the net too much... Thanks in advance, David Arnold Internet: davida@umd5.umd.edu <--- Preferred Bitnet: davida@umdd UUCP: uunet!umd5.umd.edu!davida
