I just was looking at the UUPC/extended router wondering where/who was changing a!b!c@mail.server.dns Into: b@c Which in most cases has breaking the routing information badly enough that all incoming addressses from UUCP land was reduced to useless. I discovered, surprised, UUPC/extended itself does it on the reply (r) command. Since UUPC/extended does not normally re-write mail headers, this being a special case in the MUA, I forgotton I did it that way. Has anyone else seen this problem with UUPC/extended?
