A friend of mine is working with an Unix-box which has some 80 terminals attached to it. Currently, he's trying to set up EDI on this machine. He has some experience in using mail, but setting up the complete EDI stuff is quite a different thing. Where does one start, which books/reports are useful, which factors must be taken into account? Therefore, my question is: Can anyone tell where to start such an operation? Are there any experienced people that can tell more about their EDI-childhood?
