[comp.mail.misc] Mail Server Sites

kennii@wybbs.mi.org (Kenn Booth II) (07/31/90)

I am looking for some malil-server sites, and would appreciate
anyone sending me information on addresses, the relative commands
(for systes that doesn't send HELP info as a command), what
that particular server handles, etc.

Please send as many as you can think of. I will post a compiled
listing of all the sites I receive. Thank you.

ps: All flames about the length of my .sig will be immediately discarded,
as usually the flame letters take up more space than my .sig,
which defeats the purpose of telling me how much space I use.
(wondering just how much space is taken up by useless flames...)

the comp.archives archives on cs.toronto.edu, or the group itself,
would be good resources for this search.

some people reasonably think that mail-based archive servers are
Evil and Rude, but if you don't have FTP, and your neighbors are
willing to front your traffic, then they can be quite useful.
