Is there a current problem with Compuserve mail? Normally, mail seems
to get to Compuserve accounts from the Internet within a few minutes,
and certainly within a few hours. Currently, it seems to not get there
at all (at least no mail in the last couple of days).
Anyone know what's happening?

Things were badly backlogged for a while due to a combination of failed hardware here and someone getting a whole $#!+load of huge mail sent to themselves. It's clearing reasonably well now, though my uucleanup sent out several dozen "warning from uucp" messages last night. The current backlog is only about 200 messages, which should clear not later than early evening -- it's only about a meg and a half. I have simply _got_ to upgrade that protocol driver to "B+"... --karl

As far as I can tell, CompuServe is working fine- I've sent messages both to and from my account there. There usually is a >24 hr delay. -Tom
