m5@lynx.uucp (Mike McNally) (08/16/90)
I keep getting junk from a TCP/ISDN mailing list, and I don't want it. I suppose it's harsh to call it "junk", but it is not directly interesting to me. I've tried sending mail to the request address, but I keep getting stuff. If anybody having anything to do with the list is reading this, ***please*** remove lynx.uucp from the list. The list request address is tcp-isdn-request@list.prime.com, I think, though the host iuvax figures prominently in the messages. -- Mike McNally Lynx Real-Time Systems uucp: {voder,daver}!lynx!m5 phone: 408 370 2233 Where equal mind and contest equal, go.

I have removed "m5%lynx.uucp@cs.uiuc.edu" from the TCP-ISDN list. It was part of the original list from uiuc, before being moved to list.prime.com. Is there some reason why this request could not be mailed to tcp-isdn-request@list.prime.com? I haven't received anything from Lynx, but I have received several dozen requests from several different countries. (so it isn't completely broken) (perhaps a mailer that can't handle a host (List) that exists _only_ as an MX?)
