[comp.mail.misc] "send" with The Sloooooooows

mo@messy.bellcore.com (Michael O'Dell) (08/14/90)

I know this has gone by before, but I didn't snag it then,
but "send" on my system has taken to running at glacial speeds
sometimes.

Anyone remember the cure???

In your .mh_profile, there should be a line that says
	send: -push

which "pushes" send into the background.

You can say "push" at the "What now?" prompt, instead of "send".

Alternatively, just use "push" instead of "send" at the What now?
prompt.
