================================================================================ I am interested in reaching a machine at IBM San Jose, California. The name of the machine is SJMVM2 and it is connected to the vnet. Does anybody know how I could send mail from internet to that machine? Or somebody willing to forward mail automatically there for 2 months. Any suggestion or help will be greatly appreciated. People wonder all the time about how to send internet mail to IBM'ers at VNET sites. The answer is that there is no way to send mail from Internet to an arbitrary VNET address. However, if you need to correspond with someone at IBM, you can suggest that your IBM'er register him/her self with the corporate internet gateway. It's easy; they just have to edit a form online and have their manager E-mail it in. The addresses look like my internet registration: shoens@almaden.iinus1.ibm.com -- Kurt Shoens, IBM Almaden Research Center, ...!uunet!ibmarc!kurt
