Suppose I have a network of Novell Netware machines, running Netware over Ethernet (for what it matters) and a large network of Suns and VMS Vaxen using TCP. I wish to provide a bi-directional mail service between the ``real world'' (note bigotry :-) and the Novell machines. Assume I have budgets and the ability to mess with the sources of sendmail (if I have to). The gateway machine (if such is required) is 99.44% certain to be a Sun. What are my options? Netware on the Sun? A Novell TCP offering? A Netware to TCP gateway? Whilst I'm there, I'd like to provide telnet access from the PCs to the TCP network, but that is lower priority. My ideal would be some way to run SMTP from the PCs and something like POP in the other direction via a Protocol Converter. I realise I'm more likely to need to speak something Netware-ish to a Gateway which talks both that and SMTP over TCP. Please mail me; I'll summarise if there's interest. ian
