[comp.mail.misc] FidoNet Mail - Whats wrong??

orders@tygra.UUCP (DDMI Sales) (02/06/91)

I've been trying to send mail to a FidoNet site and keep getting the
following bounced back from one of the mailers along the way:

Looks like Fidonet.ORG is inaccesible. IS there another path to get
there??

I have encountered a similar problem with mail for FIDONET.ORG bouncing
all over the place. This gateway used to work, but now doesn't seem
to function. Does anyone know if this is merely a transient problem,
or has this mail path been permanently closed? Why?

The DNS zone files for fidonet.org appers to be hosed.

No doubt due to the following:

fidonet.org. 176769 CNAME stjhmc.fidonet.org.
