[comp.mail.misc] how to prevent mailing myself when replying

sabih@utelnt.nt.el.utwente.nl (Sabih Gerez) (02/08/91)

I am using /usr/ucb/mail on an Apollo system with operating system 10.2,
bsd4.3. Whenever I want to use the `reply' possibility on an incoming
message the system always includes me as a recipient apart from the sender
of the message. I have not been able to find out how to suppress this behavior
of mailing myself in such a situation. Who can help? Please react by
mailing me directly.

The solution to the problem is very simple and is indeed in the manual.
Many people have reacted telling me to use the command `R' instead of `r'.
