I am looking for a general-purpose mail gateway package which will run on BSD or Sun systems. We are trying to consolidate our e-mail by establishing gateways to all of the e-mail services we use, such as Telemail, Compuserve, and some home-grown dial-in systems which we still must dial into manually. Ideally, I would like a software package which would automatically poll such services and keep a mapping between Unix users and accounts on these foreign services. Thus, e-mail would be received and sent under Unix only. Also, the ideal package would be script driven, so that it can dial into any reasonable serial protocol mail service.
