There was an article in the newspaper a day or two ago announcing that some students at a midwestern university (Indiana?) had hacked together a patch between the Internet and Saudi Arabia for sending email to the troops. Does anybody have any details about how this was done? My boss's enquiring mind wants to know. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roger Black jrblack@shemtaia.weeg.uiowa.edu Weeg Computing Center The University of Iowa -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is NOT about a link from Saudi Arabia to Internet. But about BITNET. I had received in Oct 90 email from an address of this form: <name@SAKACS00.BITNET> This was a conference delegate from Saudi Arabia. Perhaps you can contact the postmaster at this address.
