What do organisations who have DOS, Mac, VMS, ULTRIX, UNIX, X.400 etc ... do when it comes creating a mail system that will interoparate with all these. Do they have a central mail server ? Do they just try to standardise on one mail protocol ? There seem to be lots of products available to gateway bewteen the above, but to put them all in place would land you with an ugly mesh. I'd be intersted to hear from people who have been down this road and found a working solution.
