Hello, I am new to this news group. So sorry if my question was a very common one. I would like to know how (if possible) to write macros that I can execute from within mail. Some macros to for example send a copy of the letter I want to the printer..etc.. I am working on a sun station; I also do some work on a vt240 compatible terminal. I use Unix of course. thanks a million, in advance -------------------------------------------------------------- | Abed M. You can do that without macros. Get into mail and note the messgae number that you want to print, let's say 7. Enter m |lpr (NOTE the space before | and no space after it) Respond with anything you like to the Subject: prompt, then enter ~f 7 (or whatever the message number is) . and that's it. Ying-Da Lee
