I don't frequent this newsgroup, but I have a question that I need an answer to. Please reply by mail. I am currently organizing a mail server through smail, and have created a list of subscribers. Currently, any posting to the server goes out with a 'sender' of the poster. I would prefer that mail to go out with the sender being the server name. This is prefered because the list is small, and not likely to generate much in the way of volume. Is there some sort of config line I can put in the list file that would force smail to use the server address as the sender? -- Stephen N. Opal sno@ais.org rjf001!sno-1!sno
