[comp.mail.misc] MSDOS-based mail programs

What PC-based mail programs (like PCMAIL, etc) are people
using out there?  We have ethernet-connected machines, and
want to provide a front-end program to internet mail.

Our system programmer informs me that non-UUCP is preferable.
