I have a colleague on applelink who is a novice such that he himself is not sure what his address is. I have sent mail to what I believe is the correct address but it has bounced. Is there a way to confirm addresses of individuals on cenrtain networks (namely applelink)? I have seen posts refering to this for MCI. Thanks in advance... ---->john _J_B__N_a_s_h_______U_n_i_v_e_r_s_i_t_y__o_f__W_i_s_c_o_n_s_i_n__M_a_d_i_s_o_n_ | Internet > jbnash@vms.macc.wisc.edu Bitnet > jbnash@wiscmac2 | |___________________________ DECnet > wircs2::jbnash__________________________|

If that's what you are using, it would be easier to tell why it's not working if a copy of the bounce message could be seen. Mail inquiry to a postmaster often produces helpful guidance, but I don't believe such a mailbox is supported by applelink.
