I've got MMDF IIb version 43, and I'm trying to get it to work with bang-only paths. Basically, I'm trying to send messages to a site which does not support '@' addressing, so all addresses in the message To: line must be in the form: x!y!z. However, when I send a message addressed in this way to the site, MMDF puts out the following: x!y!z@myhost.co.uk, where myhost is the name of my own system. This is rejected by the receiving site. I know I can set up MMDF tables to ensure that the file containing "rmail" instructions which is uucped to the remote site sends the correct bang-path, but this site also needs a proper bang-path in the real To: line of the message. I've tried to queue the messages in a variety of ways (including piping to MMDF's sendmail lookalike, using the MMDF msg program, and directly piping to MMDF's submit program). Is there any way of switching off this addition of @ information? -- Pete -- Pete Miles uaa1006@dircon.co.uk ...ukc!dircon!uaa1006
