[comp.mail.misc] mail-ftp gateway

Am looking for a gateway that allows me to FTP via mail.  Speed not a 
terrible consideration.  Please help.

P.S.  I know this has been asked a zillion times before.  But I don't
      see it in my spooled news.

Ahem, but isn't 'MARIA.WUSTL.EDU' directly connected to the Internet,
as '128.252.123.49'?  If so, can't you FTP directly from it?
