### I recently received these two messages in, and while the "received by" ### sequences look fine, the "From" ! path looks mighty weird. Could someone ### explain to me what causes this? This looks like some garbage I've been getting on the Unify
mailing list after it passes through apple.com!
FLAME ON
For some reason they're rewriting perfectly good "From:" lines
into something resembling a "Path:" header from news, breaking
valid FQDNs like "From: Bill Campbell <bill@camco.Celestial.COM>"
into garbage like the above.
Are they running under A/UX or something equally brain-damaged?
The postmaster@apple.com tells me that address like those above a
fine and should be accepted by my mailer :-)
