The last moderator has gone (?) from the comp.binaries.ibm.pc group and no
one has wished to take a stand in the group as the new moderator. I would like
to take on that position and to offer the group assistance in obtaining
good, verified, public domain code for the ibm.pc and ms.dos machines.
I currently have about 100meg of information laying about both on my machine
and on local BBS's that average about 100 for each system. (of course there
are duplicate files but at least I have access).
If no one would like this position then please modify your moderator files
to reflect: comp.binaries.ibm.pc mailpath=...!ihnp4!laidbak!guardian
For the record, I am the person that any Chicagoland site should call if you
need a news feed or mail feed since ihnp4 is closed their modems to new users.
