There is actually a fair amount of traffic in ~.cpm on the C128, and the
simtel-20 archives do store programs for these machines.  I don't think
there is a need to create a new group to handle this traffic.

I'll agree with you there-- we are supported by simtel-20/rpicicge for
C128's CPM mode.  There is no need for a usenet group for that.  But
what about C128 native mode and the C64, the proposal in question?
